Would a more practical approach not be rather than to simply post these scamverts up, actually go down the 419eater route? If these 'people' are snarled up with people who know these are scams then their would be victims are spared and it makes their otherwise hassle free acts of brazen theft subject to the minefield of being exposed, and their precious time taken up???? Wonder if we could turn phishing type tactics against those who would use them against us?

Feel free to leap in. There's only so many we can ' bait ' while trying to deal with everything else as well.... so any help very very welcome.

ie. We're posting up ( and thus making a google searchable link to warn people across all different types of vehicles about the scams ) AND baiting when time allows - read the LONGGGGGGGG ebay scams thread and you'll see plenty of scambaits that have resulted in closing bank accounts down before any victims have been involved.
Also remember these script scammers can deal with lots of enquiries at once, they aren;t doing anything other than sending a prewritten message by email. The can sell the same vehicle 50 times if they like so one scambait on one scammer doesn't have much effect.

Google on mart6545 or Linace Motor co - which is what we hope people who look at buying on ebay do before sending thousands by bank transfer to a stranger .... we usually get to top few listings on google within half hour of the listing being flagged - we can only hope it does prevent some people becoming victims - every lttle helps, as they say.
