Applemac and MSN Video Call problem: it there something that can be done?

A friend of mine uses an Apple and is having problems using MSN video chat with the message:
"is using a version of Messenger that does not support this feature."
I get the above message when I try and see if downloading a version of MSN sorts the problem out.
Is there a plug in or is there a latest version of MSN for Applemac that will sort the problem out?

Do a Google for aMSN. I THINK it supports video chat.

My daughter is an AppleMac officionado (I've only used a Hackintosh version that I built on a Toshiba Laptop 'just to prove it could be done').

I'll ask her if she knows how this can be done when I speak to her tonight when she has finished Uni for the day.
