I'm unable to use Chrome to reply to posts, it just locks up & I have to close the tab, having to post this via Firefox. On a Linux machine running Lubuntu anyone else having issues?
Sorry i'm just thinking out loud, it might be irrelevant, I am not employed in anyway in the legal profession, please ensure you research any advice I give before using it I have been known to be wrong on multiple occasions.

Very odd, do other sites all work okay? I'm using Google Chrome to write this reply and seems to be fine. I know we had some issues with Edge before but they seem to be sorted now. I was going to say maybe Linux, but Kati's all works okay.

        Re: Google Chrome

Weird, I have just replied to this post via Chrome, but each time previously I tried to reply to http://legalbeagles.info/forums/show...203#post770203 it wouldn't.

Yes other sites work & were working when I tried to reply, but all seems okay now, I'm quoting your post as that was what it wouldn't let me do before.

Odd, it must have heard you complaining .... there isn't any reason Chrome shouldn't work - sometimes it has an issue if you use a www.legalbeagles address as the cookies get lost, but from the link you posted it doesn't seem that's the case.

They may have a similar cookie issue Warwick. If you are logged in on http://legalbeagles.info/forums/ and then click a link such as http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/ it will look like you're logged out, but if you return to http://legalbeagles.info/forums/ you're logged in. It's because the cookies only work on one or the other ( or both if you're logged in on both )

Otherwise they might have their log-in timeout set too low.

                Re: Google Chrome

Sometimes updates on linux cause session propblems ( lock outs ) around permissions, usualy apt-get update and apt-get upgrade will sort any issue around chrome

Are you using chrome or chromium ( open source version ), it doent matter for now as you have solved your issuse, but they are slightly different, chromium more stable with linux, chrome better if configurd properly
