If you receive one of these from the court then you MUST NOT IGNORE IT.

Your first step is to register / log in to MONEY CLAIM ONLINE - https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/web/mcol/welcome and enter your ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF SERVICE. There is some help http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...claim-from-BPS

If you don't do that within 14 days of receipt then the company may obtain a default Judgment (CCJ ) against you, without a judge looking at the court papers.

Hi Amethyst,
it looks like I have just been sent a real court claim from Richard Howard the Uk passport services. It says I need to respond within 14 days, any advice?
