at last, the back end of the internet is catching up with viruses

The attached message from Notice to Appear spam..>
was found to contain the virus "Sanesecurity.Malware.23788.ZipHeur.UNOFFICIAL(eb1 4dd332327ec5e5875a6d9544cd693:85900)".
The infected portion of the message was removed by Virus Blocker.

am currently checking this to see if it wants to download a version of EMOtet.

I must empasise this again. the current virus doing the rounds, is very good, it targets your network, instead of individual computers, looks for what bank you use, downloads the pages for them banks, including mobile versions. Seems to use your own network to try verify the files to the device. thats the clever part.

In my opinion, its the ideal time for everyone to learn how to download and setup on a USB stick, a secure version of linux, to boot to when you wish to do anything secure.... You want your banking and other financial transactions to be secure, and future proof against viruses and trojans..... Boot up a USB stick with linux on......

careful :doggieyes:, there is a new banking trojan, a pretty good one called EMOtet. If it gets anywhere on your network, its got a network sniffer, it scans for vulnerable devices, including phones. Looks like its being packaged with banking and invoice related scam mail.

I have had it in a barkleys-loging scam, and an invoice for a room reservation....... .
