  • Unsure of claim amount

Hi. I'm unsure what the exact costs are and won't know until an expert witness is called.

Is it better to give an estimated cost? If I say I'm unsure, will the court charge me the maximum fee or decide later?

You have asked questions in various threads that seem to relate to the same thing, it's better to keep things in one thread for continuity or else you risk questions being missed.

You need to elaborate about what you are claiming for, from who (builder/car sales) and why?

Yes, but you will have to pay an application cost of £255 to amend your statement of case.

When complining a Statement of case you must set our your legal position concisely and why the defendant is laible.

Potentially, but that would be dependant on what you might want?

Please do not take this the wrong way, but given your questions I think you ought to seek professional legal advice before commencing any claim. And if in fact you have already commenced one as your second question alludes, you might want to review your position with a professional and then consider a course of action thereafter.
