    Afternoon everyone
Does anyone have any info regarding PCN being issued by a council using mobile CCTV cars? I'm sure I read somewhere that one council had been stopped from using then because of contraventions to their use ( including Data Protection ) but perhaps I am dreaming?
There does not appear to be any signs warning of their use in the area so are they lawful?
Also, who are they approved by & how are they approved?
I'm asking on behalf of a friend so any info would be gratefully received & passed on.
    thanx
    Hector

Has evidence of the "alleged" transgression been requested from the council?

Yes, NTO was issued with a pic of the car on a double yellow (& was in a London Borough if that makes a difference to the Tribunal)
        Thanx for the replies

          Hector,

Have you looked at www.pepipoo.com? They should be able to give you advice on the PCN and it's legality. It's worth a go, there are some well informed people there on PCN issues and motoring matters are their speciality.
