phoned the number on the letter. gave the ref and sir name. woman said they had no record. said it must be an old case and id have to phone the bpa I think. anyway phoned them and they were closed for training.

should I continue or just leave it to go away. as far as I'm concerned I shouldn't have to chase them.

So they are saying that because the old popla was in existence when you got the number the new popla want nothing to do with it ?

If it's old popla that are dealing with it, and it sounds like it might be although i wrote the appeal after they stopped taking them, then it might never be heard.

seems. she searched and couldn't find any record. then gave me a number for the bpa I think. ill check when I goto to work tomorrow.

yes it was that phone number for popla and she told me to phone 01444447300 for the bpa.

Make sure you have a record of you efforts and file everything. After this it might be a case of forgetting about it as the operator isn't allowed to chase you whilst a popla appeal is outstanding and nobody is around to jduge an appeal. Nuts, i grant you but then you can't be expected to do anything else really.

Ask them who is handling your appeal. Popla is effectively theirs so they should be able to find out. They probably can't be arsed but you'll find out and 1 email isn't a huge effort
