  • Parking eye parking charge notice

Hi, I recieved a parking charge notice. My husband had a flat tyre so pulled over into a pub car park to change the tyre, he was unaware you had to pay & display & put your registration number in the machine. He changed the tyre & drove off. He was in the carpark for 36 minutes, we sent an appeal but it was rejected as we didn't have any proof like a letter from breakdown company as my husband changed the tyre him self. This was on 19th August 2014. We now have a letter & an appeal for popla. What should I do next.
    Kind regards.

What the signs say and if they were bound to be seen, as opposed to actually seen, and also if the notices are compliant with PoFA 2012 schedule 4 for keeper liability if it is the keeper they are chasing.

Or scans of the signs/letters minus name, address, reg number but not dates.

The basic popla appeal should work but the more flesh on the bones the better :okay:

Re: Parking eye parking charge notice

Hi, just a little bit more info, I,m the registered keeper but my husband was driving on this day, on the appeal I just wrote the driver changed the tyre. At no time was the car ever left or parked in a parking bay, my husband just pulled into carpark changed tyre & drove off. He had a crying 3 year old in the back seat. He thought it was just pay & display, didn't know it had cameras.
                              Kind regards.
