Well they haven't put anything i wouldn't expect. They haven't put anything regarding the money tally though, wonder why ?

To counter there millions of checks, our system is infallible crap, i would read the parking prankster blogs to get many facts (and the sources of them newspaper clips etc) to cast doubt on their claims. e.g. amount of appeals upheld, double dip cancellations etc which should then be filed and served with your witness statement.

mystery1 they also enclosed a list of all the cars that paid around the time i did, which indicates to them there wasnt a problem with the machine.

As you'd expect them to do. Have you ever tried turning the tv on to find you had to do it again ? Tried to open a program on a computer only to have to do it again and it works ? These things do happen. It'll be up to a judge as to who is believed.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...rent-days.html I bet the logs showed all was well that day too.

i should have questioned the fact i didnt get a ticket, but i had more important things on my mind at the time.
can i add to my defence then? i havent had a court date yet.

Re: Parking Eye, Notice to Proceed

Technically you can but Parking eye have said they will not agree and since it'll cost more than it's worth, no.

It may work in your favour though as sometimes highly technical defences are rebuffed as defendants being chancers whereas one such as yours may be seen as more truthful.

latest email from hospital

Good morning,

I have spoken to ParkingEye regarding this and, due to date protection legislation, they are unable to give me any further details regarding this Parking Charge.

As you state that you feel that there was a fault with the machine at which you paid I suggest that you contact ParkingEye to discuss this further. They will be able to look at the data from the machines at the time of your visit, to identify any faults, and to ascertain whether an incorrect vehicle registration may have been entered when you paid.

ParkingEye can be contacted on 01772 450 970.

Send them a copy of the court claim yourself.
