**WON** Just received a Parking fine from Smart parking and i don't know what to do.

Hello all im a nervous lady who suffers from IBS and this morning i received a fine from Smart Parking Ltd for overstay at Asda 15 miles away from my Home, and im worried sick, My husband and i went to the Asda for some clothing for our youngest son, which i purchased on my card so have receipt for that we then decided to have coffee which i used cash point to get cash. we had coffee cake a chat then went back to shopping i used their loos several times in between then my husband noticed the £2.00 carparking fee had run out so we rushed through checkout leaving behind my second receipt i did not cash in my £2.00 carpark as it had expired rushed back to car and joined traffic to get out. This morning the fine arrived i rang Asda Worcester who said there is a half hour grace over the two hour carpark which because my hubby had to go to loo he has Celiac went over another 10mins Pictures show entering 10.14.38 our parking ticket stub for dash showed expire time 12.19pm leaving picture shows 12.59.48 Asda at worcestershire told me on phone 1/2 hours grace which in effect means im being fined forty pound for 10min's
which i don't have and the worry has already had an effect on my IBS. Is there anyone that can guide me as to what to do.

It's a pain in the arse (no pun) dealing with these things but it's not something to worry about.

It's pretty pointless complaining to the customer service staff or till operators so i suggest contacting the manager. Drop the Equality act in to the conversation after the facts and proof of purchase tec.

At the same time appeal to smart.

I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals process. The driver was a genuine customer (see attached receipt) and had issues with a long term disability which is covered under the Equality Act 2010. I note your notice to keeper is fundamentally flawed when compared to PoFA 2012 schedule 4 para 8/9 in several aspects .


Should you reject my appeal please supply a popla code.

Hi Momasita here Following Advice I sent in appeal and have waited till now for an answer, and today 23/10/2015 A letter arrived from Smart parking
It reads.
Thank you for your recent communication received.
I have noted the point's raised and would like to confirm that we are cancelling the Parking Charge Notice. Yours sincerely Smart Parking Limited.
