    Just to up-date you on this one. I emailed CE again asking why they had issued a Final Reminder for £100 when I had appealed and asked them for a POPLA code and had heard nothing from them about it. They ignored that email too. I then sent them a letter in the post telling them about the emails (told them I had used their advertised email address and had copies and screenshots of the emails) and asked for an explanation. Also asked that the charge be cancelled because of 'procedural unfairness' (I Googled that bit and it seemed to fit). Also said if they issued an appeal the demand for £100 and the failure to follow their industry guidelines on appeals would form part of the appeal. Today we received a letter (two lines long) confirming the Notice has been cancelled. Victory. Very pleased and relieved. Thank you again for all your help, we couldn't have steered our way through the procedures without your help.
