Re: Parking eye- letter before county court claim

      Dear Mystery 1,

I fully appreciate how busy you are at the moment but thought I should let you know I received another letter from Parking Eye again yesterday, clearly ignoring my letter to them.

It states "We recently sent you a Letter Before County Court Claim, informing you that the above parking charge remains outstanding and this has now been processed for further action. This is because we had not received an appeal or payment from you within the time period stated on the first Parking Charge Notice. This notice informed you that all appeals should be in writing and submitted to Parking eye within 28 days of our initial correspondence. Appealing at this stage would also have enabled you to appeal at POPLA had your appeal to Parking eye been unsuccessful.

Therefore we are now unable to accept your appeal and would advise you to follow the instructions outlined on the claim form to pay the outstanding amount or submit your defence.

Thank you very much for your help x

Re: Parking eye- letter before county court claim

Hopefully when we win the judge will take in to account that they issued a claim without entering in to the spirit of the pre action protocols. It's only a penalty in costs and doesn't really affect the progress of the claim.

I'm on shift for the next 3 days so it will be Thursday/friday before i do your defence.

If you have or are able to get pics of the signs that would be better

          Dear Mystery 1,

Attached please find link to the photographs of the car park I have taken today. Interestingly enough I have not been back since August but have noticed today all the 2's have been covered over with 3's, making it now a 3 hour waiting limit!! There has been alot of pressure locally because so many have been caught. I have taken pictures of the entry where there is one small sign partially obscured by the bushes and the other signs are inside the car park. I also today bumped into the gentleman who used to patrol the carpark who was made redundant when the signs and cameras went up, who said initially there were fewer signs around the park but these have increased in recent weeks.

I hope these are useful to you, I look forward to hearing from you, thank you for your help

          Kind regards x

Ok, was about to start on this. The claim says 2 hours but the sign says 3 hours. Do you know if it changed recently ? Ask instore if you're not sure or don't know.

You were there less than 3 hours so it's kind of important to know

2 of the signs do look like the 3 is quite new.

The signs have been changed this week, I think probably on monday. I have not been there personally for a while but noticed it had changed when I took the photographs and then there was a post on one of the towns facebook groups on tuesday saying good news the limit has gone to 3 hours!

                    Nearly done.

I would love a close up of the small print though.

Dear Mystery1, we have been up today and taken photographs of the "small print" for you. The only way we could make it readable size was to do it in a series of three pictures taken about a foot away from the sign for you. The pictures are located in the same dropbox as the previous photographs of the car park. Hope you can make sense of them. Interestingly enough my son could not read the ones mounted on the posts he had to take close-ups and read them from the photographs!! Many thanks for your time x
