That letter in post #7 is from the Debt Recovery Plus (simple debt collectors) using Gladstones' headed paper. Look at who they are asking you to pay. And the name is on display.

I'm not quite sure what the situation is here. The OP is saying a claim in their name yet they are not the registered keeper. To add to the confusion could this be a leased car?
