  • Total Parking Solutions - Retail Park overstay

    On behalf of new user:

my wife recieved a parking charge from a company called total parking solutions for an overstay 13mins at a retail park in livingston the charge is £90 which i feel is excessive. i was the driver not her . However i was advised to look up a consumer watchdog site that advises me to ignore this demand . some advice would be helpful

In Scotland there is no keeper liability. If they don't know who the driver is then court action would be a very hard struggle for them. Also they are not an overly litigious company anyway.

I'd ignore and file the numerous letters. Only respond to a genuine court claim which won't happen.
