  • NCP Final Reminder Notice Received

    Hi

    I'm looking for some help!

I've just recieved an NCP Final Reminder Notice in the post for an alleged parking contravention. The alleged incident occured in July 2024 and the Final Reminder Notice was sent on 25th October 2024. This is the first notice of any kind that I have received.

I'd be glad of any guidance on how to proceed with this. As far as I understand, as it is beyond the statutory 14 days, therefore not legally enforceable?

    Look forward to your responses!

    Thanks

The 14 days to which you refer are only applicable if the parking company is pursuing the keeper, and refer to the initial Notice to Keeper.

The company are going to state they sent the original notice in accordance with the regulations.

What I would advise is that you write to the parking company asking for a copy of the original NTK as this is the first notification you have received.
Post up a redacted copy if/when received

Do not identify the driver when communicating with them, or when posting on open forum.

      Thanks Des8!

Issue I now have is that the option to appeal the parking charge is not available on the NCP website as I am outside of the 28 days from the initial PCN (that I never received!)

I guess I send a letter to their registered office??

      Thanks

Have you tried their contact page (https://www.ncp.co.uk/help-centre/contact-us/)
if that doesn't work you have no option but to write to their reg, office, but don't expect a response!

The next letter will either be a further reminder or from a debt collector
