    Other half didn't get a pay and display ticket at a car park the other day and end up with a council ticket....grrrr

    Paid it within 14 days

    £25 down the toilet

    Yeah, well sometimes it just ain't worth the aggro fighting these things.

    Given the time & trouble.........

    (You'll just have to forgo one of the (weekly?) visits to the Duck & Pullet!)

        To be fair he was parking to go to an eye test at spec savers ... so it's lucky he managed to park at all judging by the prescription that came back

            Just think - you could well have ignored it and all other notifications. It could then have been dealt with at the TEC and Bailiffs could have been involved so £25 is a good price to pay rather than the £400/£500 if it had gone further.

                Exactly .... yes it's annoying, but it was a valid ticket and I'm not risking all that on a principle ( it was one of those free parking for an hour but still need a ticket places )
