Hi. Just had notification back from them today, stating within it as follows :
You vehicle was not parked in accordance with the terms and conditions on site, the vehicle not wholly parked within a marked bay. The grace period is given for a motorist to read the terms of parking, not to wait, idle or to make use of the and go about their business. We find this parking charge to be issued correctly and we are therefore unable to cancel the PCN.
It mentions that I now have the option to pay the fine or use an appeal through Popla. Also if I use the Popla service I lose the right to pay the reduced amount of £60?
    Your thoughts please.

They would say that, wouldn't they?
& how would they know whether or not you left the car park?
Maybe by them reading post #1?

Thanks very much for your invaluable reply and information. What exactly are they looking for with mediation? and what sort of outcome has anybody experienced?
