I'm a bit lost with the appeals letter that will be sent to popla...do I include the bit about the contract and then chose which other bits apply to my case?

              Re: MET parking services advice

              hi, thank you for replying...
Met have emailed back saying they have forwarded Pauls email onto relevant department for consideration. Now I assume they will reject this and then I appeal to popla. So I have looked at the template letter that I need to doctor to suit however im still getting confused. Im unsure what it is that suits me situation.
am I to wait to hear what they say within the next 14 days so then I will know exactly what it is they are rejecting or does it go off the actual parking notice I was left on my car? The 'ticket' states; the vehicle was parked without authorisation and the vehicles driver was not on the premises at the time of survey (which had been conducted and executed in under a minute!!!
              thanks again for your patience

I'd (personally) wait for a reply from them now ... If they reject your appeal, there will be lots of help/advice from the Beagles on your Popla appeal :tinysmile_twink_t2:

                            Re: MET parking services advice

They agreed because of a very recent Tribunal finding in that a council's contracted parking enforcement firm was also handling appeals it was deemed unlawful. Therefore I suggest that if even a private parking firm, acting for a private landlord, who is also conducting the appeal process against one of their own tickets might just be considered a 'conflict of interest' & unenforceable :tinysmile_twink_t2:

They don't usually give in so easily. They must think giving up now is better than losing at popla and spending £27 + vat for the privelege. :okay:
