Liability Order - Two dates

Dear All, I have a friend who received the attached liability order. It was an A4 page. It has a printed date and a signed date. Can some one confirm if this LO is valid. Very much appreciate everyones help. Thank you.

Thank you for tagging to your colleague. The order came direct from Trafford Council and only upon request.

yes thats a proper one, Its how they are initialy recorded at court. The date difference can be the date formalised at court, to date produced by the court.

Just for info

There doesnt need to be much info on council liability orders due to 2 parts of the process

1. The council oppionted court officer ( council officer ) makes a decliration to the cleark when requesting the orders ( first stage ) . This declration states that all accounts included have been checked to the appropreate accuracy prior to presenting them to the court

This bypasses the normal evidecne required for getting a liability order, like proof of accounts.

2. The council dont have to get the ammount claimed accurate, untill they take payment

Ie it doesnt matter if a LO is for 1000 yet yuoui owe 100, that would still be correct

There is no specified format of a liability order these days - the specified format was removed some time ago - but I will also add that liability order looks fine as the council have simply continued to use the original format. The date difference is, as mentioned above, the difference between the date the request was made and the date it was granted.
