    No if its only now you realised that is fine its the case of not being aware of it before now........(with making the reclaim that is).

    So you need to say its only now you realise that you can make a claim for these charges etc.....

      Di, lovely thanks and I will let you know how I get on once I receive a reply from the Halifax re odd amounts added to balance.

      Then I will request refund of charges that I have already compiled a spreadsheet with dates, amounts and type. Will it be compound interest added or just 8% simple would you know ?
