    In essence the director made a promise that there was a specific opportunity which he knew at the time of making was untrue, in order to get me to part with my money. This was done both verbally and via a website.

    Does this make the director personally liable and if so, should I need to get a variation in the existing CCJ or bring a new claim?

      Thinking this is all getting a little complex ? is the best advice really for the OP to get a solicitors advice one who specialises in company law trying themselves to find someone who IS liable seems to be rather hard ?

          Good luck I don't expect it will be easy, reading through this I get the feeling something illegal or at least a con has caused you to lose the money hope they get what thay deserve
