Not really apart from forums like us. Quite a few solicitors offer a free initial consultation by phone.

    What's your query?

Without knowing the full circumstances you normally need to be separated for 2 years but you could ask for a divorce anytime on the grounds of unreasonable behavior.

Unless anyone else can advise I would ask on the forum on Wikivorce site https://www.wikivorce.com/divorce/

Unreasonable behaviour, or desertion ( which is what it sounds like ) would be grounds for filing for divorce before 2 years of separation. Your husband would be able to contest the divorce.

A divorce carries a court fee of £550 at the moment, however you may be able to get a discount or full remission based on your financial circumstances.

You could go and visit Citizens Advice or a local Law Centre who offer help and support for free if you can't afford formal legal help/advice, and there are many law firms who offer fixed fee rates for straightforward divorces if you believe your husband won't contest it. The forms are quite straightforward if you wanted to do it yourself though.

Is this a UK marriage that is registered ?
