  • Taking the council to court advice regarding documents

Hi, I just wondered if anyone could help, basically I'm taking a council to court and I've supplied all documents to the council, their insurance and another body. Now they have solicitors involved to defend them in court do I legally have to supply these documents to them too or should their client supply them? Thank you in advance for any help you can give.

Their client should supply the documents in the case to their solicitors.

Have the solicitors sent you a request for documents ? or just sent a notice of acting ?

They first sent me a letter on the 14th requesting these copies so I replied asking why their client hadn't supplied these documents. They haven't actually answered that question just replied again saying it is imperative they are both in possession of the same documents so they are expecting me to send them to them but it doesn't sit right with me.

Wanting to reply to them so can I refuse on the ground their client should supply?
