      Hi Everybody

got it this letter back from BC, is this positive news?

I have sent the cca request to Lowell's, I just sent BC a copy of it. Shall I write to BC to let them know it's already been done?

      Thanks.

sorry quality of pic is poor

They don't seem to have received the copy you sent them, or else your letters crossed. The quality is good enough to read what they are saying so don't worry about it. I would just write back saying that, once more, you are enclosing a copy of the CCA request you've sent to Lowell.

The main thing is that they have now put the account on hold :thumb: and won't be issuing proceedings in a hurry as they've been doing with everyone else on here.

I'd double check they got your response to their letter before action, just in case they try to deny getting it.

Isn't that the letter dated 28 Nov 2013 they are referring to on their latest posted above? In which case, they are acknowledging receipt of it.

Well if you send 2 letters together, which one, or both, is acknowledged ?

Maybe i just have trust issues.

I sent the letter before action and copy of the cca request to lowell in two separate envelopes, So I don't know which letter they are acknowledging!

Royal mail delivered my second cca request to Lowell's but I also sent the second LBA and a copy of cca request to BC on the 2nd december by recorded in a single envelope however, it still says progressing through network.

Im a bit confused now, Royal mail are very slow

Why did you send a second CCA request? :noidea:

In the majority of cases, that has the effect of stopping them in their tracks. As neither BC nor Lowell seem able to produce documents, they issue claims hoping to obtain default judgment. By challenging them to produce the documents, they may well move on to easier prey.
Does one need to be a cynic to wonder if that is why Bwyan Carter usually refuses to comply with CPR requests?

Of course not, it's self-evident! I've yet to see one example where they have complied!

Re: Bryan Carter Solicitors Letter- Please help

I sent a cca request for each of the claims. One was for a loan and the other was for a credit card.

Is that correct? . M1 said send both letters again.

I sent LBA letter and copy of cca to BC

                        cca request to Lowells.

This was done for both letters that threatened court proceedings.

                        Thanks

Re: Bryan Carter Solicitors Letter- Please help

Yes one 31.14 and a sca request oer account and a SAR to cover both.

Gets confusing enough to remember which persons thread you're on but when you add in more than 1 item per thread it does confuse a bit.

It seems you've done it correctly to me.

M1, Thank you, I have done as you suggested.

co op bank received the SAR earlier this week so see what becomes of that.

I am a bit concerned that BC recorded letter (for the second claim)says its still progressing through network. The letter I sent to Lowell's on the same day has already been signed for (yesterday) I sent it on the 2nd. I am assuming it got there and has been bulk signed for. I have no idea but I've done all I can now.

Like you say, M1. You cant trust these people.

I've had replies to recorded delivery letters that show that they are still in the system.

There are 2 ways to find out if they got it. 1. They reply 2 Ask them.

I will wait until monday to see if I get a reply from them. I am too frightened to phone them yet.

                                Thank you, M1
