They'll send statements letters before action and general correspondence to you at this address and won't send documents ? If they know it's you due to previous correspondence then the data protection act isn't an issue. ask them what the reason is.

            Hi

I can't remember if they sent any correspondence to the address I'm at now. I only have Lowell's letters now.
I was at a refuge when I stopped paying and never updated with them when I got a permanent address. When their entry of the debt was on my credit report they had my new address on there, don't know how.

In any case there is no rule that says you must sign. Ask them why they want it.

should I not sign it and ask them why the want my signature ? Won't it just stall them sending it. They say in the letter data is ready to be dispatched.

I was think of signing and putting a couple of lines through it.

                  You could do.

Wasn't sure if you wanted to.

They are playing at Silly Buggers.

That would be absurdly easy to fix, though it might take some minutes to do. Likewise, the "anti tamper strips" one finds are hardly difficult for anyone with a scanner and an image editor to fix

id rather not but I want the SAR info, need to check out dates and stuff incase a claim is issued soon. Lowell's still have not sent anything back from my cca request yet.

Should I send a copy if my council tax bill or something if they are unsure if my identity. I'm not sure what to write in a letter.

                      Thank you.
