I am currently involved in a case where the opposing Solicitor is consistently rude in his correspondence to me, he never says please or thank you, tries to push me around and threatens and basically bullies me and treats me like a lesser being! Up to now I have been nothing but polite to him and compliant with his many requests but my tongue is getting very sore from constantly biting it....or should I say my fingers are twitching badly from refraining from firing back at him via the keyboard what I'd really like to say!
My question is this, am I within my rights to tell him in a nice way that I find his manner terribly rude....I feel like saying 'manners maketh man', or have I to just keep biting my tongue? It may sound like I'm being pathetic, but I dread receiving his letters because his attitude really irks me and then plays on my mind! I have so far kept schtum as should the matter go to Court, I wouldn't want it to look like I was being disrespectful or rude, despite the fact that he is to me.
Thank you for any advice.
