  • Is sending this image illegal?

Hi all, my daughter started getting bullied by one particular girl 6 months ago. She is relentless. Her main aim (she’s stated many times) is to get everyone to hate her. She’s almost succeeded many times. It’s been painful and stressful. Today, she sent round a picture of my daughters bottom (they are both 15) to everyone. She had this image because the girl tried to attack my child at a party and as my child got off the sofa, her skirt was fully up at the back… obviously she didn’t realise and she’s devastated. It’s on video and been sent to probably 1000 people. Is there anything I can do about this legally? Because she’s wearing a thong, she’s also fully exposed, just awful. Thank you

I think that evidence is called illegal image. If you can fix it and add a watermark that covers the sensitive area. I think it will be.

This is illegal, it is Distribution of Indecent images of children under the Protection of Children Act 1978 (as amended).

Section 4 of this Government website outlines the offences: https://www.gov.uk/government/public...#whats-the-law

If you wish to pursue this then a report should be made to the local police via 101.
