  • Serious legal problems

Hi My family keeps sending police to my house for various offences I never committed, they wont leave me alone and each time I'm asked to go into a police interview. I have been accused of criminal damage, stalking and even prank calling offences. This is the fourth time and they even threatened to kill me and I have it recorded. Is there anything I can do Also one of the family members is a police officer and I think they are doing this to help him by making my life miserable

The police were also really rude accusing me of alleged criminal damage, I do not have more details until the interview

So you complain to the police about being criminally harassed and make the complaint at a different location to where your relative is based, and do mention that an officer at another station is a family member, without making a direct accusation.

I suggest you file a report against them on other different location. Or in case of any claim, you can hire a personal injury solicitor. He may help you to get rid of this situation.

Make sure you are accompanied by a Solicitor or ask for the duty solicitor for this interview.

Having and continuing to be subject to such issues, I feel for you as the Police will band together to get at you and seems even with evidence they will drag out any complaint to cause you unnecessary stress. The best advice is anytime you have dealing with the Police make sure you record such interactions, if they are coming to your house fit a security camera, if it is away from home put a recording app on your mobile to record all interactions and also put a call recorder app on the phone and keep all phone interactions with them so you have evidence which to defend yourself with and if necessary to lodge formal complaints
