    Costs £550in Court Fees (unless exempt)

    Petition for Divorce - Court Fee £550

    You will need form Form D8 ( http://hmctsformfinder.justice.gov.u...s/d008-eng.pdf )
    and to help you complete the divorce forms there is detailed, and easy to follow, guidance for completing form D8 - ( http://hmctsformfinder.justice.gov.u...-notes-eng.pdf )


    If you are on a low income or certain benefits you may be eligible for fee remission - EX160 form

    To respond to a divorce petition ;
    Respondent
    Agree with divorce - Free
    Disagree with divorce - £245


    Financial orders - the financial order is only suitable to take on on your own if your finances are very straightforward.
    • Application for a financial order, other than by consent. £255
    • Application by consent for a financial order. £100
