Sorry, i've only just got home. He took the letter to work and handed it to his boss before the hearing, his boss went away to consult other colleagues then came back and had the cheek to try and tell Chris that he'd been giving the wrong letter and that it was their mistake and should never have been stated it was a 'disciplinary hearing' (despite both letters he received both saying it was!) and that it was more of an informal discussion to talk about what happened. He had a meeting with them, gave his side of things etc, they tried to suggest to Chris that he should have braked when the other car drove up alongside him and not when that car swerved into his lane (which was ridiculous unless Chris has some telepathy powers i don't know about and somehow knew the driver was going to swerve!) they went away to discuss amongst themselves and then came back 20 minutes later and said they weren't taking it any further, that they accept it wasn't Chris' fault and just advised him to drive more carefully. So no disciplinary action and no further action of any other kind! Phew! Thank you all so much for your help and advice, it is HUGELY appreciated. Chris & Meriel. XXXX
