    Johnboy007 has already answered that question for you. The manager didn't employ you the company did.
    Frustrating as it is when this happens there is nothing you can do to get the money you are owed.

      Well let's say I wasn't employed...as in, it took a company a month to get my contract to me, and just before that month passed and I was given said contract, I left...are the company still responsible for providing sick pay, SSP, etc, without a signed contract, if I was/am working for them?

      And if yes, then without an official contract, is it not up in the air as to who is technically employing me?
