If a contract has a date on the front of said document of June 30th, and is signed by someone with the date written July 31st, is this void?

is there a reason it was signed so long after the date on the front after all not all contracts would be signed on the date it is written or do you think there is something amiss

They had to send me a copy of the contract as part of a DSAR, and originally did not (I had to ask again) - now they have sent one which has the 30th June date on the front along with the liquidated companies name, yet the final page has a date of June 25th written/signed by HR staff and my signature with July 31st by me. I was never given my own copy of the contract btw, and the ICO have already found that the company was in error not originally sending me a copy of this contract - i had to ask twice.

No I think they changed the front cover of it.

No the contract is not void, as you are merely signing to agree to the contents on the date you signed, regardless of date shown on document.

This shows that you agreed to the terms and conditions of the contract on the 31st July.
Regardless of any other dates shown.
If this was not the terms and conditions you agreed to, and the document has been altered, then you need to seek legal assistance from an employment lawyer. Or telephone ACAS for advice.

Hmmh...but I was never given a copy of the contract, and as I know this is not the one I did sign...does that mean I was not legally employed? Or that I could take the manager of the company to Court on a personal basis for the missing wages? As the actual contract of employment has not been produced?

The Manager is not liable for paying wages.
It is the company that has a statutory obligation to pay you.

But if the company can't produce a contract of employment, does that not mean I can take the manager to Court?
