        Employment Tribunal Mediation

        Good Evening All,

I desperately need some advice, I went to an Pre Hearing where my Employer was trying to get thrown out as out of date for Racial Discrimination, The judge ruled that it was in date, I have a catalogue of incidences that have occured during this time, this went on for 5 years. I went through a very badly dealt with investigation whereas lies were told by HR, mismanaged investigation leading to a threat in writing by HR telling me to drop the invstigation. I was offered another role withing the organisation in December which I took, which 2 days after the Employment Tribunal was taken away from me and I am now sitting in a closed empty unit isolated on the reception.

The judge rules that ALL of the incidences that occured during the last few years neded to be heard and has slotted me in for it to be hear in August over a period of 6 days. My employer admitted to the Rascism during the Pre Hearing and said they were not going to argue about that incident. My question is. What would I be expected to be offered realistically?, Is this just an offer they put on the table?, If I turn down an offer, will that affect my case at the full hearing?. Would would you all settle for?,

It has been a traumatic 5 years, it has completely worn me down, I will continue to fight, but it would be a comfort to know that I would be able to walk away and put an end to this awful period of time.

Thanks for reading this and thanks in advance for all that respond

please Help me Im so worried

          Hello All.
Im hoping someone can help me, I took my employer to an employment Tribunal and lost, they have now told me I have to pasy costs, it amounts to around nearly Ł30,000. My barrister is not communicating with me and I cant afford this. He assured me that I wouldnt have to pay and now they are throwing costs at me, I roughly earn around Ł16000 a year. What can I do. My partner is not working at the moment, i live with my parents, i am basically the bread winner in the house, can my employer sack me if I dont pay? dont know what to do. I can understand why people end their lives... I feel helpless

Re: please Help me Im so worried

Bogle, Please try not to worry, EVERYTHING is sort outable. You don't have any assets and there is really nothing major they can do to you.

We'll need a bit more info to be able to help at all though,

What was the arrangement with your solicitors ? Was the barrister direct access or instructed through them ? Was Legal Aid involved at all ?

What was the basic tribunal claim about ?

How long ago was the tribunal ?

The tribunal was against your current employer ?

Other's will be able to help once we know the basics xxxx

              Sharon
              xx

Have you had a letter from the court about the fees? can you scan/photo the letter and post it up or email it me ( admin@legalbeagles.info ) take off your personal details if you post it on here.

Did you just go direct to a barrister, no solicitors firm/ no win no fee firm etc ? Can you pm/email me his/her name ?

And go get a cup of tea - Seriously, it will be sort out able, but you have to look after yourself xxx
