  • Subject Access Request: Employer and Employers Customer

    Hi
I am considering a Subject Access Request to my employer and my employers customer. (I want copies of all email correspondence regarding a matter involving both parties although the information is held on two separate IT systems).

There is a specific subject that I am interested in.

This maybe a preemptive activity to legal action, which may (I guess) involve "full and frank disclosure" around constructive dismissal, and career limitation.

Is there any specific advice I need to be aware ? Could I inadvertently damage any future case by a poorly worded request, could they respond and redact the information I require ?

    Thanks

A subject access request is a request for your personal data held by the person or organisation to whom the request is made.
