Hi, I am currently a civil servant and have a permanent contract at a certain grade. However, I have been Acting Up into a more senior grade now for over 6 years. This is because Senor management have been promising to do a review of structure for years but cant seem to get it going. The post im in though should not be affected as it is a recurrent post. Therefore my Acting Allowance of 10% just keeps getting extended time and again. There was no time set at the beginning. Is there any Employment Law I can force upon Senior Mngt?. Do I have any rights at that grade as I have been successfully acting into the post for that long with good performance reviews? Thanks in advance

Yes the policy is 2 years max, but doesn't say anything about what happens if it goes over.Originally posted by nobster1968 View PostHi, I am currently a civil servant and have a permanent contract at a certain grade.
