  • Employer forcing someone to work with medical condition

    I am a depot forum rep and someone at work was told they are being moved department due to how busy it is, they have a doctor's letter and a medical diagnosis saying they can't do such activities due to there back.

    The person then walked out of the job, they are full time employee, just wondering what legal stuff or breached I can bring up when it goes to a disciplinary

    Are you the colleague who will accompany the person at the disciplinary? What are the allegations that have been given for the disciplinary meeting?

    What did the person say when they walked out and who did they notify that they were doing this?

    Is the company aware of the doctor's letter? Has the company done an occupational health assessment?
