If an employee whom comes to work on a Sunday with her daughter ( 16 at school ) and the daughter is caught taking money on CCTV what rights do the mother and employer have with regards to employment law. Â*

Is the employer threatening to dismiss the employee ( mother ) because of the daughter's theft ?
Has the theft been reported to the police ? or dealt with internally ?
Had it previously been agreed that the daughter could attend work with the employee ? ( if not could it be considered misconduct to allow an unauthorised person on the premises etc )#staysafestayhome

The employer stated they did not require the daughter's services, but mother ( a long time service) would give daughter jobs to do and ''work experience'' giving the daughter an opportunity to ''earn'' ( mother paid her) - No police involved - would the girl have any rights?

The girl is not an employee so would have no rights.
However if the mother has allowed her daughter onto the company's premises and given her work to do despite being told by the employer that they did not need the daughter's services then potentially disciplinary action may be taken against the mother.If you would like a one-to-one expert consultation with me on your employment issue than I can be contacted by emailing admin@legalbeaglesgroup.com
