  • Advertising my job without my knowledge.

A couple of months ago I mentioned to my manager that I was planning to relocate, but I didn't have an absolute timescale. I had to find a job and sell my house.
I have since found out that my job has been advertised and as the only 1 in the office have been asked for more details about my own job, described as the vacancy.
I have not put in my notice yet. Where do I stand from a legal point of view?

They are entitled to prepare for your possible departure. From the jobseekers end it may not be particularly fair.

Has your employer actually said anything to you about this or asked further when / if you might be leaving the company ?

What is your contractual notice period ?
