Hello, i'm wondering if somebody could help me with this question -
Is it legal for employees to look at other employees payslips without concent from the manager?

How are they looking at other people's payslips? Are they not sealed ?

Is it the person responsible for distributing the bulk delivered payslip to the individual employees that's been having a nosey ?

Have you mentioned to HR/payroll that it's not particularly secure sending the payslips in such a way ?

Nope, the person is most definitely not responsible for looking at/handing out any paperwork to any employee. I made the situation aware to management and im sure they're on it, but i'm wondering legally would they be able to do it if theirs was in there too, which it is. Is this why they're doing it? It just doesn't seem right. Wouldn't that be down to the manager?
