I was off work due to sickness, whilst I was off I got told I’m being removed from my job to another. I returned to work to be told I would not be going back to my duties and off the record was offered a compromise they have given my figures to which I’m not happy with with having over 30 years service after tax it equates to 15k any advice is appreciated

Hi Dave,
Have your employers given a reason for your job change - is it related to your health issues ( adjustments etc )? or has your original job become redundant ? You returned to work to do the new job they'd moved you to but they have told you you won't be doing that either so in essence dismissing you ? How long were you off sick for ? Have there been other redundancies in the company ?
The maximum statutory redundancy is around £15k for ref, so that may be what they are basing the compromise agreement on, but you should check your terms of employment if your company normally used a higher rate.
I'll move you to the employment forum and tag Ula to look in for you.
