  • IRCAS letter on behalf of transport for london

I’ve received a letter from IRCAS on behalf of TFL asking me to pay £50 or £100 after 14 days.my son paid with his sister oyster by genuine mistake. Does anyone know if I have to pay it? I tried to upload the letter but if needed I can send a photo upon request

Does your son know anything about the incident, was he stopped by TfL staff?

Is this the first letter you or your son have received about this? I would expect there to have been previous letters from TfL.

How old is your son? Have TfL said why they think you are legally liable for your son's actions?

All opinions expressed are based on my personal experience. I am not a lawyer and do not hold any legal qualifications.
