  • MORTIMER CLARKE SOLICITORS/ CABOT FINANCIAL court letter

    Hi all

    i was wondering if you could help with what steps i need to take
    i have recieved a letter from mortimer clarke solicitors saying they will take court action if i dont contact them by 9th february 2025
    the original debt is for a post office credit card and it was Bank of ireland uk which i believe is permantly closed
    to give you guys a bit of back round i first missed a payment in october 2024 as stated on all my credit files and i have not acknowledge or made payment to any company since this date, i know this debt is now statue barred but was wondering if you could advise about how to prove this and get this matter closed

    Providing no payments have been made or the debt acknowledged in writing in the last 6 years, then the debt is statute barred (providing there is no CCJ).

    Send the following letter, make sure you get Proof of Postage.
