  • Issues sending solicitor letter

So my wife 2 months ago did moonlight flip taking my 7 year old stepson with her who I have been father to most of his life and where going through adoption even. But now she has left she has been using him against me and using to control as she knows I don't have any rights as step dad. Sadly she has refused to let me see him or even speak to him and son and I had a very close relationship and bond. I can't imagine what he has gone through.
So following this I have had solicitor involved regarding contact with son. There have been 2 letters sent to her the second one been recorded. now she is living at her friends house just down the road and I know she is still there as she has no where else to go and no money as she is on a visa here. So what happened is the solicitor recieved the first letter back today written on the front 'this person does not live at this address. which is a lie and just way of refusing the letters.
So how do I legally get letters delivered to her? She also works just down the road at the shop and son goes to the school next to where i stay.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Get someone to put the letters in her hands. Your solicitor will know process servers who will do this.
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.
