  • How can I sue the Internet provider

    Hi,
Could anyone please help with few breif advices regarding my case with TALK TALK..

I had a contract with talk back to 2019, Talk talk made a mistake during the sign up ( which I think was deliberate to sign me the internet contract) ...After 2 months of deliberation and bad service talk talk admitted in writing the mistake and they offer me clearly to stop the contract without any cancellation fees, I accepted the offer to cancel with a big releif!!

Few month s later started receiving letters from debt collector asking me to pay money because TALK Talk asked them to do so, I was really stressed again and did not want to answer, later received many letters from different debt collector.

I received many warning letters and court actions over two years , I did appeal and explained to the court that talk talk admitted mistake and I presented the proof..... The Court accepted the appeal and asked me to prepare a defence .

I was in this contract just for 2 months only but The deby collector in his statement saying that I did not pay for the period of 7 months

I sent my defence to the court and to the debt collector as well and waited for the court date.... Surprinsingly I received few weks ago a letter from the debt colector saying that they are not interested to follow the case and no more court action

Extremely hard 2 years full of stress, 3 weeks ago I emailed talk talk asking them for compesantion for all the bad service, stress etc, but they never responded

Could anyone please advise what to do in this case, I would like to go for small claim case and ask for the maximum compensation as I'm very very upsted with Talk Talk

I will not advise anyone (even my ennemy) who suffer from blood pressure or anxiety to start any type of contract with Talk Talk ...

    Kind regards

    Sorry for the grammer!!

You have not lost anything so difficult to claim for a loss against Talk Talk.

      Hi TITANT

      That is a terrible experience.

You need to show that you have tried everything to resolve the matter before turning to the courts.

So you could write a Formal Letter of complaint to the CEO of TalkTalk. You need to get a Final Response / Deadlock letter before you make a complaint to the Services Ombudsman.

Write a Formal Letter of Complaint, email it to, explain whats happened, how it's effected you and what you want them to do -

It's really one for Rob, but he / she been has been harassed by debt collectors, ended up in court for no reason except TalkTalk poor cuustomer service / administration.

I think any claim is going to cause the OP much more stress and would be very difficult to win - there is no financial loss as Ostell says. I think a letter to the top person at Talk Talk is a really good idea but the court route not so much.
