Gosh - you do seem to have picked up an awful lot of separate parking claims, judging by the number of your posts seeking help.

You might wish to go over the previous answers to your previous queries on those, to see if you think you might have a defence and when you have done that, perhaps consider posting what you think that proposed defence might be.

So ask the mods to merge with the original thread

You state that your are not liable as the keeper of the vehicle
Even if you were liable then as the keeper you can only be held liable for the amount of the original PCN
THere may have been a contract with the driver for the additional sum but are not the driver
The claim of £80 for solicitors costs is not allowed by the courts as this will probably go to the small claims track.

I think they have done everything correctly. I can't see a reason that would allow a defence.

However you could tell them that, as the keeper, you can only be held responsible for the amount of the original PCN, POFA 4 (5), and you are therefore offering them £100 to withdraw. If it dies get to court you raise thevfwct that you made an offer which was refused

Believe me I don't like to say pay but there are times when there's no other choice. Just try to get the lowest amount.

I don't think you should pay it. I think at best a good will gesture without prejudice
