      So I'm guessing that you've received a 'Goodbye' letter from MCOL and not a 'Hello' letter or a Notice of Hearing (with a hearing date and Directions) from your local county court.

        Its a Notice of Transfer of Proceedings it says
        The small claims mediation team has arranged for your case to be transferred

        The whole case including fees is only for £240 but on principal I will not pay it as I dont know anything about it and these people dont scare me and I am happy to take it all the way thank you for your help su

            Just to let you know I received a letter inviting me to mediation which when I telephoned to agree and make an appointment to carry out mediation this could not be done as Lowells had not supplied all the information needed I have today received a letter from Lowells together with a copy of the Notice of Discontinuance another win for the wonderful people who put there time and effort into this site to help us all thank you all again special thanks to Nemesis45

            My best advise is dont be scared or worried to take these people on this is the 3rd case I have taken on and won

                      Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

                      If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
