Won a CCJ yet they claim to have no money?

Hi,

I have won a case and the defendant has attended for questioning about their finances.

They claim they own nothing and don’t even hold a bank account.

However I don’t believe much of what is in the report and believe he had lied to the court.

is there anything I can do?

I now have to choose what line of enforcement to go down so guess if I choose bailiffs they will soon find out what property he does or doesn’t own?

You have done what you can. Without furthrt proof, be very careful about chucking good money after bad.
Get an order for payment even if at a silly rate, it will keep it alive.

Have you checked on the Land Registry whether they own their home?
