( Either way you should do a Subject Access Request ( http://legalbeagles.info/library/gui...ccess-request/) to Shop Direct ( which catalogue this was for ? ) )

Ah slight hitch I have just checked the posting tracking number it seems that the SAR has not been delivered. I now have to fill in claim form from Royal Mail. Is it too late to send another one off??

Seems my letter to the solicitor never arrived either according to the tracking. The CCA was delivered on 16th January though and I know it was as they cashed the cheque for £1. I need to resend the SAR and copy to the solicitor again.

in that case send again RECORDED DELIVERY & just a copy to solicitor for information purposes only and cancel the non cashed cheque?

Yes, I did send everything recorded delivery the first time and will do again and make sure the cheque is cancelled. I rang Royal Mail to find out why they weren't delivered but they couldn't tell me. Strange that it happened twice! Not much I can do about now I suppose but I have all the reciepts of sending.

Royal Mail never have an answer, many a time Recorded Delivery sent but no signature and states in the system but every time a letter is received by the person/company sent to acknowledging and refers to recent letter dated, worst it seems is P.O. Box Numbers as bulk signed for

Ah it just occurred to me, I had a response from the solicitor (above letter) so they must have received my CPR which included a copy of the CCA to Lowell? I have made another SAR for the Very account anyway as there is no evidence they have received anything and am sending a new cheque.

Hi I've had a few communications from Lowell this weekend. I sent off the SAR again last week and my DQ. I recieved a copy of the DQ from Lowell Solicitors and also a letter from Lowell saying they had changed Solicitors from Crohn Cramer to Lowell Solicitors. So I'm steadying my self for the phone call for mediation etc. Anyway today I received a letter from Lowell saying for a quick resolution they are closing the account and clearing any outstanding balance. Is that it then? Is there a catch or something I've missed?
