Re: Cabot sold, Maynard steps down.

They are continuing to heap interest on one of mine, despite having a recon CCA which would definately not stand up in court, they appear to have stopped the letters though...the other account of mine they had has now disappeared off my credit file and appears to be in oblivion as its not reappeared anywhere! Would love Cabot to just disappear to the same place!

Re: Cabot sold, Maynard steps down.

Cabot have two one Bank of Scotland and Halifax.
I put them into dispute last year and both now with the FOS.
The Halifax one they failed to provide valid cca and I did get back PPI direct from Halifax, they then sent me a letter saying that the account was now "written off" dispute this Cabot are still trying to say that I still owe them money , still awaiting a decision from FOS about this
The other an old Bank of Scotland card, again before i found out about these things I did pay them and again they did not provide a valid CCA, the FOS could not adjudicate re ppi as the account is pre 2005, they have, however now admitted they are unable to get CCA and again awaiting decision from FOS,
In view of this would I be able to claim back any money from them?
And will the "new" company be any differentmsl:

Yes it will AC - we won't have that twerp Ken Maynard stocking up his cabinets with silver cups at every opportunity on the back of some PR campaign he's been on telling the world how wonderful they are and winning Credit Today awards...that, in itself is a success!...and they might just get the Hodsons fools a.k.a Morgans off this planet and get a decent firm of litigators to get things right

Would that be our old friend 'seahoss' by any chance from OTR?

If it is, then as one of the originals in the Fan Club and an ardant lover of Herr Maynard, hell be swinging his kilt and giving a blast on his bag pipes if I know him (and I do!) :llama:

The plot thickens, having been harassed by Cabot about a statute bared Citi debt it is also interesting that they were/are part of the same group!

You have to question why Anacap have effectively just thrown all this money down the drain like this?
